pubescentes. Folia 6-9 poll, longa, £-3 lata, peliolo -J-poll. Peduncutl basi pluri-
bracteati. Sepala renifonni-rotundata, brcviasima, apiculata, vclutino-pubcnila. Pe-
tofo exteriora crasse coriacea, utrinque adprcaso toincutosa ; interiofa % l>rcviora, in
mitram oval'em obtusiasculuui coalitn. Otaria liacari-oblonga, stylo ic^uilougo,
Fruclus ignotus.

Our description is tsilcon from Ilcyncls specimens iu Wallicli'3 collection in the
museum of the Liuncan Society, and from a specimen just received from J)r. Gibson.
